AR, it sounds like your travels have been safe and successful, as for your international streaming problem, I've had the same issues on my visits to Africa - utter frustration . . . The buffering is one way, but it is a tedious way to enjoy something as fluid and mesmerizing as 5-3-72 (one for the ages) . . . I feel your pain. The only way I could find strong, solid, continuous and fast internet service was to get on board with a local university, if there is one located near enough to make sense. This has worked for me in Africa and in Wales.

Perhaps, a side trip to Shangri-La would do the trick . . . my concept of Shangri-La would most definitely involve some pleasant way to listen to 5-3-72. Good luck.

Good idea about a university. We probably will connect for work, anyway, and ultimately I'm sure we'll figure out all the "workarounds" that people undoubtedly do here. As for Shangri-La, well, that's where I'm living. Got a nice view of the Himalayas from the roof :-)

Lucky you! I'll try to regard my jealousy and instead wish you a great adventure. I'll just keep telling myself, 'Shangri-La . . . someday . . .'

When you find a good connection, I suggest you go back to 5-3-72 and enjoy that gem without interruption . . . and your nice view of the Himalayas

Indeed I will. Or I'll be begging y'all to send downloads on CDs soon, which you can trade with me for cool purses, pillowcases, or Bollywood CDs. That's the running soundtrack here on the streets :-)
